Drwg gen i nad oes llawer o Gymraeg yn y llith hwn – ond dyma grynodeb cyflym o daith ‘rwyf yn ceisio trefnu ar hyn o bryd. Apologies for the brief and letter to all nature of this, but this is a precis of information on a trip I am trying to arrange this year. Location: Ethno-Cultural festival, Izhevsk, Udmurtia, between Moscow & Siberia. Link: Set up via Llangollen Eisteddfod; the Udmurtian contact, who is a singer, worked for a year at Llangollen, developing skills re festival organisation, and I happened to be doing a radio interview just before her on Radio Cymru. Finances: £750 each needed for 3-4 people to fly. Price includes maximum travel and subsistence for journey. Grant aid being sought and looking positive, though some contribution may be needed by artistes. Accommodation etc: Festival pays for food and accomodation for the days 01.- 04.of October so that group could have some rest and see more of Russia and Udmurtia. Performance To quote the organiser: “The festival will be held in our City Circus (i.e.as a venue) - that's why I'm asking about your clog- dancer(or dancers) - as we'd like your group to represent Welsh( i.e.Celtic) culture as much as brightly. Can your performances combine songs and dances?” SGWRS therefore is looking for: Ø Solo/couple exhibition dancer(s) (1 or 2 depending on financial situation). It could be someone who is creating an avant-garde performance, or purely traditional. Ø instrumentalist who can play lead for the dancing/play on songs Ø singer(me) Please would you kindly pass on this information to those who may be interested? Cysylltiadau Rhyngwladol Tramor Tipyn o Bopeth Yn ystod 2003 bu i "Tipyn" chwarae eu rhan mewn dwy Wyl Ryngwladol ym mis Mai 2004 bydd y dref-westai Fflemeg yn dod i gaerfyrddin i dalu'r pwyth yn ôl! - anfonwyd gwahoddiadau i dimau Cymreig ymuno mewn diwrnod o ddawns yn y Gerddi Botaneg Cenedlaethol yn Llanarthne, Shîr Gâr ar Fai 22ain. Y llynedd fe groesawon ni 35 o ddawnswyr a cherddorion o Gotland, Sweden - ac eleni fe dderbynasom wahoddiad fel grwp i i deithio i Gotland, i berfformio yng Ngwyl Dawns Visby ym mis Awst. Mae criw bychan o "Ddawnswyr Tipyn o Bopeth" yn ymweld a gefeilldref Caerfyrddin, Lesneven, Llydaw ar ddiwedd Mai. Dyma'n ail ymweliad â Lesneven, gan i ni ymuno yn nathliadau 20fed Penblwydd y Gefeillio yno yn 2002, ar ôl i ni eu croesawu atom i Gaerfyrddin yn 2001. Rydym newydd ddychwelyd adre o'r Wyl Pan-Geltaidd yn Nhralî, ac yn gobeithio croesawu grwp o blant Gwyddelig atom dros benwythnos Gwyl Sant Padrig yn 2005. Bu 33 o ddawnswyr ieuanc yn dawnsio drwy'r penwythnos honno yn 2003.	Tipyn o Bopeth's International Exchanges During 2003 "Tipyn" took part in 2 International Festivals in Belgium - next Month, May the hosting Flemish team will come to Carmarthen on a return visit - Invitations to Welsh Teams have been sent out with the hope they may come and join in a day of dance at the National Botanic Garden of Wales in Llanarthne, Carmarthenshire on the 22nd May. Last year "Tipyn" entertained 35 Dancers and Musicians from Gotland, Sweden - this year we have been invited to Gotland, as a group, to perform in the Folk Dance Festival in Visby in August. A small number of "Dawnswyr Tipyn o Bopeth" are visiting the Twin-Town of Carmarthen, Lesneven, Brittany, at the end of May. This will be the second visit to Lesneven, having hosted members of the Lesneven Twinning Committee in 2001 and having taken part in the 20th Celebrations of the Twinning in 2002. Having just returned from the Irish Pan-Celtic Festival, held in Tralee - it is hoped to host a group of Irish Children for a second time, next year, (2005) over the St. Patrick's Day weekend. We hosted 33 young dancers and musicians during 2003 from Tralee, and they danced all weekend in the Carmarthen area.

Cymru a Sweden 2004 Mae trac wedi dechrau chwilio am bump o gerddorion ifanc – rhwng 18 a 25 oed – sy’n awyddus i gael profiad bythgofiadwy! Fel llysgenhadon dros gerddoriaeth draddodiadol Cymru, bydd yr offerynwyr ffodus yn ymuno â phum cerddor o Sweden am wythnos o wersi yng Nghymru o Fehefin 27^ain tan Orffennaf 5ed, gan gynnwys *Ysgol Haf a Gŵyl Cân ar Dân* yn Ninas Mawddwy. Bydd trac wedyn yn eu danfon i’r *Ethnocamp* (www.ethno.se) yn Falun, Sweden o Orffennaf 10^fed hyd y 18^fed. Bydd y prosiect yn dod i ben gydag ymweliad gan y criw o Gymru â’r Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yng Nghasnewydd er mwyn perfformio ym mhebyll Cyngor y Celfyddydau a trac. Diddordeb? As ambassadors for Welsh traditional music, the lucky instrumentalists will join with 5 Swedish musicians for a week of tuition in Wales from June 27^th to July 5^th, including the *Cân ar Dân Summer School and Festival* in Dinas Mawddwy. trac will then send them to the *Ethnocamp* (www.ethno.se) at Falun, Sweden from July 10^th to 18^th . The project winds up with a visit by the Welsh contingent to the National Eisteddfod in Newport to perform on the Arts Council for Wales and trac stands. Interested? To realize this aim, ECYnet will, both on a national and multinational level, organize congresses, seminars, and symposia which promote the exchange of experience, training and professional development in the field of cultural youth work; encourage and carry out scientific studies and research; disseminate and publish findings and inform the general public and political decision-makers of its work and findings.This informal meeting will give you the opportunity to meet cultural youth workers from Lithuania, Estonia, Portugal, France and Denmark who are meeting the whole week in Stackpole to design standards and guidelines for the Cultural Youth Exchange projects which regularly occur between ECYnet members.If your organization has complementary aims you will be invited to join ECYnet Cymru and this meeting will give you the opportunity to meet other cultural youth workers in Wales

Among other activities the group organizes an anual festival: Herrien Jaialdia (Peoples' Festival) celebrated in the middle of May. An invited foreign group used to take part in it. and, now, we are looking for a group that would be interested in coming to our festival. Our financial resources are limited so we can just offer the lodging. Of course, a reciprocal invitation on the same conditions would be welcome.
